Wedding Shoes :)

Ohhhh la la :)

Please don't be jealous if you have already gotten married and your wedding shoes weren't this AWESOME! Ok so heres how these babies came to be... I entered to win a pair of glitter heels with a satin flower on them from a blog I follow. Sadly I didn't win, so of course I had to find a way to make them for myself!!! So here's how I did it!!!

These are the items you will need to make your shoes sparkle. Oh yeah...I paid $1.00 for these shoes. The shoes you find can be any color because the glitter completly covers it.

You're going to pour some of your modge podge into a bowl and pour glitter in there. I would put a lot because the more glitter you use the less coats you have to put.
This is what it looks like when you start, I know it looks crazy but it will dry clear. I did a total of 3 full coats and one last touch up coat at the end. It took about 30 minutes for it to dry so go find ya something else to do! I did the dishes, I hope you pick something more exciting!

Ok now for the ADOREABLE flower :)

This is what you're going to need. Don't be scared of the fire...

You're going to cut your ribbon into different size squares then round the edges. You have to use satin ribbon in order for this to work.

You're going to fold your petal in half then put the flame UNDER it. You will notice the satin starts to kind of shrivle up. This makes it look like a petal, then you just lay the petals on top of each other until it looks the way you want it to look. Sew 3 small pearls onto the middle. Lastly glue a small piece of felt to back it up. Then you can put the flowers on a clip, or just hot glue it right to the shoe. :)

This is what you get!!!

Crystal Light???

I can't take any credit for this tutorial because my wonderful assistant Principal gave me the idea! She drinks Crystal light all the time and always kept the containers because she said they were just too cute to thrown away! So this is what she came up with!!! (You can put whatever you want inside, in this one I put tissue paper and money for my sisters birthday) It's perfect for gift cards too!

These are the items you will need. Scrapbook paper, Crystal Light container, scissors, glue, and I didn't take a picture of it but you will also meed some rafia string/yarn or riddon to tie around the container.

I cut the paper to fit around the container and glued it on. You could also use Modge Podge but a glue stick works just fine!

Then I cut a piece to fit the top of the container.
I took some excess paper adn made a little tag. Punched a hold in it then tied it around the container. ADOREABLE! So much better than just sticking it in a card! You can also use it as a pen holder or put little desk items in them.

Yay!

Valentine Gift Idea

My parents anniversary is February 14'th. Yep Valentines day! How romantical! :) I ahve to admit I dont usually get them an Anniversary gift, however this year I felt they deserved something extra special. Something homemade of course! SO this is what I came up with.

Ohhh la la :)

This is pretty self explanitory BUT I will go through how I made this. The items you will need are
-Frame (I used 11x14)
-Scrapbook paper for your back ground
-Glue stick (Acid free of course)
-Scissors

Oh yeah...and the PHOTOS! This would be an amazing gift for a parent/grandparent. Use kids to say whatever you like. I love sign language other than the heart, thats what this is.

Since I used a 11x14 frame and my paper is 12x12 i kept the photo paper and cut down the scrapbook paper and just glued it on the paper.

Then I glued the pictures on. I'm a perfectionist so I was really happy that I used lined paper

This is what mine looked like once I glued all the photos on.

Then you just pop it in the frame! Easy peazy and super special. Anyone would love to get this homemade gift :)
